BEAT-MAKING COURSE

We have developed a day-long course (6.5 hours total including a 30-minute break) which covers nearly everything you need to start producing your own music. We are frequently commissioned instrumental production, and based on industry experience we have developed a “fast-track” course that covers the fundamentals of modern music production. OUR CURRICULUM

PART ONE -

THE BASICS

We will explain how to navigate the DAW for instrumental production, drum programming, chord progressions, bass lines, melodies, sampling and more!

PART TWO -

THE NITTY GRITTY

We will take what we have learned and applied in the first half of the day and lay out a song/instrumental structure, cover basic mixing principles, touch on sound design fundamentals, basic mastering, exporting and Q&A!
