Genelec 8351B: Powerful and Precise
The Genelec 8351B utilizes an unparalleled three-way design to offer a crisp and percise soundstage for industry professionals. Known for extremely accurate engineering performance, I will outline some of it’s noteworthy features:
Tri-Amplified Monitoring:
This monitoring setup features a unique tri-amplified build, allowing for extraordinarily clean signal output, and thus, extraordinarily clean mixes. With 250W for the woofer, 150W for the midrange, and 150W for the tweeter, each studio monitor whops an impressive total of 550W of power ensuring crystal clear accuracy across all frequencies.
Advanced DSP:
The Smart Active Monitor (SAM™) technology and Genelec Loudspeaker Manager (GLM™) allow for room correction and compensation, providing an accurate signal regardless of shortcomings in studio design. We leverage this as a complimentary measure to assure that regardless of how well acoustically treated our environment is, Genelec software and hardware can take it a step further.
Genelec 7360A: Rich and Precise Bass
The Genelec 7360A is known for its extremely accurate low end, pushing down to 19Hz. Complimenting our Genelec 8351B monitors, this subwoofer kicks a much appreciated punch of it’s own, adding to mixes in the following manners:
High SPL:
Capable of outputting up to 109db, this sub provides powerful low end monitoring without distortion.
Extended Low End Frequency Reach:
Pushing down to 19Hz in frequency range, the 7360A provides rich and precise bass which professional audio work is known to call for.
Room Adaptation:
Akin to the stereo monitors (Genelec 8351B) we are pairing this subwoofer with, the Genelec 7360A offers room correction and compensation tools, ensuring that regardless of environmental shortcomings the mixing experience is up to absolute industry grade.
